Today I am grateful for basketball. We went to the Marriott Center to watch Alli (Westminster) play against BYU. The good thing about women's basketball is that nobody goes to watch so we had front row seats :)
I absolutely love basketball. It has been a pretty big part of my life ever since I was in 3rd grade and I've learned a lot over the years.
You know those things in life that just get you excited? The ones where you almost have a hard time just sitting back and observing because you just want to be right in the action? Well, that's what basketball does for me. I've never been a star athlete, but I sure knew how to work hard and always had the determination to improve. And that must count for something right?
This fall, Kenz and I have been playing on a co-ed intramural team. It's been a blast to get back on the court and have a ball in my hands.
