Today I spoke in church. Right before sacrament meeting started I got this text
I just didn't even know how to respond ha! Like it was a major decision. Is it worth it? Which ones should I choose? Where should I throw them in?
Oh, and he wasn't even there yet. But he claimed to have people listening.
I still hadn't decided for sure if I was going to do it as I got up to speak.
The thing about this talk is that I was already taking a huge risk because I was being very REAL. I was admitting to weakness all in the hopes of touching someone's heart and saying what the spirit prompted me to.
So I didn't really want to ruin the spirit but I found some places in my talk to easily slide it in. I chose Oreos and the Wild Wild West haha! But I didn't dare look at all those people I knew were involved in this practical joke because I most definitely would have lost composure.
Mitch walked in right as I was getting all emotional and thought there was no way I was going to do it.
I found out later that I was the first person to ever do it! And the girl that spoke right after me did it as well.
The biggest compliment was that they all said I hid it so well. Like no one else would've known that it wasn't part of my talk. NAILED IT.
