The past two days have been gorgeous in Provo, Utah. Although it's been crazy busy with checkouts, goodbyes, and packing I have definitely enjoyed the break from school. I can't believe I've already finished two years of school. My sophomore year was definitely a success. Two and a half years more and I'll be done! Plus add a year and a half mission in the mix and that makes a total of 4 years till I graduate!

Two short days (two must be my number today) and I will be home! I was really looking forward to it and to what's coming but now I'm starting to get a little sad.
I have met SO many amazing people this year and my life definitely wouldn't be the same without them. It's different being the one that's leaving and not the one that is being left. However time is flying by so I'm sure it won't be long before we all meet again.

There will be future posts to come about highlights of this awesome year :)

LOVE these girls! From 7th grade till now and forever we will ALWAYS be besties no matter how  much distance there is between us.

Love Life and Life Will Love You Right Back

April 19, 2013
I'm a firm believer in that statement. Sometimes it's hard to stay positive and be happy. But it is possible! Life is awesome and I'm pretty sure I have the best finals week out of everyone at BYU. Not gonna lie, the worst part was last week and getting all those assignments done before the last day of class on tuesday. Seriously such a bummer! No sleep, no food, endless hours of assignments, never-ending days...but hey, it's all over and now I'm smooth sailin' :)  Two finals down, three to go. I got this!

The rest of this week has been a breeze. I've had ample time to organize/start packing my room, watch some movies, organize the office in our building, do some good scripture study, and of course study for finals haha!

I can't believe I'll be home in a week and then 6 weeks after that, I'll be right back down here. Funny story...
A lot of girls who are going on missions down here at BYU have been talking about how ever since they got their calls, there has been a huge increase in the amount of boys that have been interested in them/asked them on dates. For me, it's been the exact opposite. Like really, every single boy I've talked to the entire year is dating other girls, too busy to hang out with me, and pretty much distanced themselves! If anything, it's just a reminder that going on a mission really is what I need to do and there's no way that a silly boy is going to stop me. Hallelujah. And really, I haven't had a ton of time to think about my mission, but as things are winding down I'm realizing how excited I really am to go serve in Alabama!

I took down all the quotes in my living room yesterday. 194 quotes and two huge balls of sticky tack. Pretty intense, but definitely the highlight of my decorating this year. Everyone loved the quote wall whenever they came over :) And I plan on keeping them for a very long time. We can't let all that good work go to waste right?

What Happened to my Countdowns?

April 11, 2013
I used to make countdowns for everything! But I don't know what happened. Maybe I'm just focusing on enjoying my time before the countdown ends, instead of just hoping and wishing and waiting for the day to come. Joy in the journey? Yeah, we'll go with that. But just for the record...

HOME in 16 days
MISSION in 62 days

Exciting stuff. That's for sure!

Random Thoughts

Woo-hoo! 70 days and counting. Just gotta get through school first.

I have been talking about going to J Dawgs for like the past week and a half. I haven't been there forever and it sounded SO good! And to my surprise, when I walked into RA class at the Canon Center yesterday, there sat food catered by J Dawgs. I was in heaven. Seriously, it made my day. I was so excited! And it tasted delicious. Oh the perks of being an RA.

One last thing, I strongly dislike cold sores and the mail.
