This was our last field trip on the way home from Galilee. It was so sad to leave!

First we went to Mt. Carmel. Famous for Elijah challenging the priests of Baal among other things.

Ignore my hood. It was so windy and cold out there! Dr. Muhlestein quizzed us on directions even though there was a map on the ground haha!

I've been searching for a lamb to get a picture with the whole semester! But we haven't really been close up with any. Here's the closest I got ha!

We then went to the Haifa cemetery where a few early LDS missionaries are buried. Cemeteries aren't my most favorite place in the entire world but I can at least appreciate these people and the work that they did here in the Middle East!

We then went up from the cemetery to the overlook. It was gorgeous!

This is the religion headquarters of the Baha'i faith. They didn't tell us much about the religion but they are monotheistic and seem to have originated from Shiite Islam and they accept Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad. There are 7 million members of this faith.

Our last stop on this field trip before we returned to Jerusalem was Caesarea Maritima. It was built by Herod the Great and was the Roman capital at one point. Philip, Peter, and Paul all did missionary work in this area. All I know is I would definitely like a palace on the sea.

The last 30 min of the field trip we were at the aqueduct and they let us go in the ocean!! I was in heaven. It was the highlight of my whole day haha! I know I always emphasize the water but it's my happy place! I just can't get enough of it!

This is where the palace was built! We watched a video of what it would've looked like and it was majestic!

I wasn't ready to leave Galilee! It was such a wonderful 10 days! Now off to our last week of classes, finals, and then the last week :( December 16 is coming too fast!
