I think it is important to realize that people do have a tendency to judge, because as we realize that, we can hopefully be less quick to judge. But I do agree with Katelyn that everyone is a little bit stereotypical... not necessarily racist.
Wow. I don't really even know what to say. This made me a bit uncomfortable. I don't feel that I am racist at all. Sometimes I do make quick judgments and I try hard to NOT do that but any quick judgments are not based on race. In a nutshell, racism is the belief that some (or one) race is better than any other. And that belief often determines how we treat one another. I'm not really certain why the puppeteers decided to do this sketch, I wish I could see more of the program to find out if they described why they had decided to do this, etc. I think we are all different and that is wonderful. We can embrace our differences and laugh at ourselves. But I don't think we should define racism the way they have decided to portray it in this sketch. I hope I am making myself understood. I mean this all in the nicest, most non-racist way. :) Oh, and I am blond... ha, ha.
